National Lutheran Secretariat -
The National Lutheran Secretariat (NLS) is
the governing body for the Via de Cristo movement. It's officers are
scattered throughout
the United States, and they meet twice a year for intensive sessions on planning
for the next year's activities.
The main event is the annual NLS meeting, which is held at different venues every year. The 2007 meeting was held in Indianapolis, and many from HOIVdC attended. Some pictures are included here.

Symbols, Inc had a nice display table and did a booming business. This is
the company we get our weekend crosses from. Norma is pictured twice looking
over their merchandise.

The worship services and communion every morning were terrific. Evening vespers were held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Late night entertainment was outstanding! Perhaps one of the most favorite activities of the attendees is getting into the small group breakouts on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Also, representatives from each region of the country had opportunities to get together and discuss issues facing them.
